New Scientist is a publication that focuses on current, international news from a scientific standpoint. According to the creators, the magazine was founded in 1956 for, “All those interested in scientific discovery and its social consequences”. I believe that should include everyone! 

With this in mind, my redesign aims to broaden the magazine's audience by making science more approachable and elegant. The new masthead, photography, and layout, combine sophistication and beauty–drawing in those who would not usually be interested in scientific publications.
